Geraniums

This image is some of  Ike's artwork.  I enlarged it as I wanted it to be off-the-page.

The start with,  on an acrylic block I worked out the general areas I wanted inked and smooshed with distress inks then dried it, splashed watered down Perfect Pearls around a bit, and dried it again.  Then I printed the image.   I painted in areas of flowers/leaves, sponged on areas of stonework, adding shading with a brush. I then used a stencil to sponge in some stone path texture.  The iridescent pearly bits don't show in the photo at all.  Edges are distressed.  Sentiment added and some pearly sequins for sparkle.   Thanks Ike for the great image.

I really like the result.

WOW what a beautiful design! How clever of you to enlarge it to make it off the edge! Looks awesome and very 'artsy' ... love it! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Watercolor’ challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
