A little birdie

I'm not going to tell you what is inside.  I love this sentiment because it goes for all kinds of occasions.

The alcohol ink in the background is on acetate, very tricky to photograph and looks a bit washed out because of reflection I think... so there are more pics than usual.

The frame is several layers, white on top/black under, with inking, misting, dribbling, splattering, then an underneath black frame to give some depth.  I love how the misters, inks, sprays etc have interacted with each other.  Birdcage & bird are also a few layers thick; I also cut out one of the bars of the cage to let the bird out!

The base card is stamped on directly with a vintage script and splattered.

Bird & Cage die: Memory Box

Frame die: Nellie Snellen

Script stamp:  Rubbadubbadoo

Sentiment stamp: magazine freebie

Ranger alcohol inks on acetate

Also: ribbon, Shimmer Spritz, DecoArt Media black, Distress Ink Oxide Sprays - sprayed & splattered.

Beautiful card Carol. This looks like it would have been a lot of fun to make. I like that you let the birdie out of the cage.
