I was sent this enormous die by a lovely lady - thank you again, you know who you are.
The die is Sizzix all in one piece, so I cut it from white card and coloured it with Inktense Pencils while watching tv one night. It resides in the jungle created by an embossed background (Cuttlebug Hawaiian Shirt) made using letterpress technique and white ink, and also a scrappy strip of jungly looking p.paper. The coloured dots are drop-outs from dies which I collect. We saw these parrots in Costa Rica.

Beautiful! I admire the embossed background—it’s the perfect setting to showcase your magnificent parrot. The coloring with your pencils is enchanting; the parrot looks just as vibrant and colorful as it does in the wild. Simply fantastic! With the addition of leaves and flowers, combined with that stunning background, it feels as though you’ve been transported straight into a gorgeous jungle scene.
