A Rosy Posy

Often when we want flowers for a card it is easier to go out and buy them, but they are satisfying to make, they just take a bit of time and patience ... mostly patience.

Here are some I made just using cheap marbled papers in several shades of pink (somehow they seem nicer that way and that's how it occurs in nature).  I found the thinner papers are easier to shape than more expensive ones.

Diecut spiral roses with some inking on edges and back, the odd dab of glossy accents for dew drops and Liquid Pearl in the centres. Diecut white card.  Stamped sentiment embossed with silver.  Diecut foliage in soft green. White organza ribbon and pearl headed pins.  All on a background I made using Glimmermists and smooshing, which creates a marbled effect.

Thanks for looking and for your comment.
