Flower Fairy

Watercolour; Stash; anything goes blue;

I love to use distress inks in all kinds of ways.  This time I masked the image, inked the stamp, spritzed it with water and stamped over. The image is a lot softer and more blended than just stamping it straight on.

Image: A Day for Daisies
Stamp (Gauze): HeroArts
Diecuts: MemoryBox
Sentiment stamp: Cardmaking for Connisseurs
Flowers: from stash (I've had these for years, usually I make my own, but now I'm trying to use stuff up).

  1. Thought I recognised your background stamp - I have one lurking in my supplies too. Love the way you have used it Carol to emphasis the gorgeous image.

  4. I am forever trying to come up with creative ways to make different backgrounds. This is always a good option and looks great. Sometimes I don't think about masking with digital images. Thanks for sharing this with us at A Day For Daisies.
