This is my illusionary quilt, started at a workshop in Rotorua. Quilting is one of my other hobbies and is a non-paper favourite. Actually they are a similar process, just one is fabric, one is paper. Hmmm, oh yes, that's right ... and quilting is more expensive, takes a lot longer, and booboo's have to be fixed, not thrown away ...

What a beautiful quilt Carol - I have done a wee bit of quilting, but after making one quilt each for my adult children, I told them never again, and if they wanted quilts for grandchildren, not to look at me!!
ReplyDeleteI admire what you have achieved here, as this is wonderfully shaded and pieced.

This look amazing! Wow! I am stunned! I have never done any other craft but card making so this is awesome! Love the illusionary effect! Thank you for all the sweet comments on my blog! I'm your newest follower! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous...I so appreciate the amount of time and love that went into it's making. I'm into the more immediate gratification that paper crafts give, but your quilt is truly a work of art! Thanks so much for sharing it with us at As You Like It Challenge!
