Welcome, I'm so glad you're here! Being creative is a big part of my life, and this is where I can show you some of the things I do.

Sailaway
One-layer cards take a bit of planning and are challenging but fun to make. I like simple.
Here I used a stencil and two shades of blue distress inks for the sea, fading it out so it looks like they are sailing in mist. The ship and birds are stamped and coloured with copics. No designer paper in sight.
I would use this for a birthday card for a male of any age, and because of the cartoonish nature of the image it's a little bit fun too.
Stamp: Woodware
Stencil: Rosies
Also distress inks, WofS on sails

I adore the simplicity of this, Carol, and your crisp clean colouring. Thanks for sharing at LIM and ATSM but unfortunately, you've exceeded our limit of combined entries at Less is More, we have a maximum of 5 :(

This is fab but as Anita mentioned it exceeds our number of combined challenges permissable.
ReplyDeleteI have replied to your comment on the LIM blog, but just to reiterate... we limit the number of challenges which may be combined in the hope that cards will be created with our challenge in mind and not simply linked to our challenge because they have a tenuous association with any particular theme!
Thanks so much
Chrissie
