Shy Girl

This beautiful image is so inspiring.
I used a snippet of paper to piece her dress and coloured the rest with Copics.  I have deliberately left it without a  sentiment so I can use it for anything.

  1. Carol, Shy Girl is adorable and you did a fantastic coloring with your copic and your color selection and toning is beautiful. Your pieced dress is fussy-cut beautifully and love the selection of your design paper. I'm so glad you joined us at Double Trouble, and please come back for future fun challenges and see what Trouble Maker, Double Trouble and Twisted Sister have up their sleeve.

  2. Oh Carol, she's lovely!! I'm super impressed with your paper piecing on her dress! I enjoy leaving cards without sentiments too - it allows you the freedom to decide later what type of card it is. Yours would be perfect for just about anything! Thanks so much for sharing little Alisa with us at Digistamps 4 Joy!

  3. Carol, I'm in love with that paper you used to piece the dress...and I'm not usually a polka dot girl :) Your coloring is super sweet and just the right amount of color and tone for this image. Thanks so much for sharing with us at CASology this week!

  5. What a wee beauty Carol, and you have coloured her to perfection. Love the dress - I had a (smocked) nightie of similar red and white spots when I was very young, and this has reminded me of it!

  9. Loving the paper piecing and smashing polka dots is one of my faves. She is such a lovely girl standing alone without sentiment until you are ready to give her lovely words. Sounds like a great idea to have custom made creation handy. I'm so glad you joined Digistamps4Joy this time around Carol and hopefully to see you again next month.
