This is a one-layer card. I used a sketch for inspiration.
I printed the llama, coloured it with pencils to look festive. The circle is a die, held in place and sponged over with Distress Inks to make a frame. The sentiment is stamped through the design.
Coloured pencils
Die used as mask: Spellbinders
Sentiment stamp: Penny Black
Do you remember the poem about the 2L llama? We learnt it in primary school in spelling class. Here it is with an hilarious addition:
The one L lama, he's a priest The two L llama, he's a beast And I will bet my silk pyjama There isn't any three L lllama. -- Ogden Nash (to which a fire chief replied that occasionally his department responded to something like a "three L lllama.") |

Oh my gosh. The 3 L llama from the fire chief made me think of a Boston, Massachusetts accent here in the USA. I love it. Never heard that poem.
