Quarantine Hair

I'm sure most of us who have regular haircuts with short hair are now feeling a bit desperate.  I do know I trimmed the bit that flops over my eyes and Ian trimmed the fine ratty bits at the back (which I don't have to look at).  However (depending on whether we go down to level 2 lockdown) my hairdresser has phoned and made a tentative appointment for later in the month. YAY!

I made this for my daughter who has a salon in Auckland.  As well as phone calls, I have been sending her a fun card every week as she is extremely stressed and worried about her business and staff being out of action for six weeks.

Thanks to  Impression Obsession for this wonderful image.

  1. Fabulous fun card and image -great sentiment and love all the rainbow colours.I am very lucky because my daughter has been back home since last Sept and although she is now a care home worker-she was a qualified hairdresser and manageress of a salon before she got into care.

My hair appt. should have been at the end of this month but our state is still in lockdown mode until the 30th so no haircut for me...

  3. Love this image Carol, and you have used it wonderfully. The mounting behind her is stunning. Do hope your daughter's business survives.
I have not heard from my hairdresser yet about an appointment... nearly ready to tie the front of mine (including my fringe) into a wee clump and put a ribbon on it. I threatened my hairdresser I would do that!
    Stay safe

  5. A Great image with lots of colour, a Super card, to hopefully cheer your daughter up. It's such a worrying time for self employed people all over the world. I hope she is able to return to work in the not too distant future. Thank you so much for joining us in our challenge at QKR Stampede this week. Good Luck and looking forward to see you again in our next challenge.
