Moon Box

                                                                                                                                 before:
Scribbles June challenge is Flip-a-Coin!
What fun!  Check it out here:  scribblesdesignschallenge

There are five flips.  My flip was: CAS, shaped, gemstones, ribbon/twine, recycled/upcycled.  EEeeeekk!
This would be great for a man to keep his jewellery in.  Or a woman.

What a great challenge.
Round dies: Spellbinders
Copics, black acrylic paint, metallic flakes, gems, twine

I painted the box black, when dry, I sanded randomly to get an aged look.  The image lent itself to adding gold leaf flakes which I did to small areas as I did not want to overwhelm the image (and remember, I had to keep it CAS), coloured the eyes and lips, then added the gemstones.  I was going to keep it toned down and then thought " hey, they are gems, go to town"!  I think it's still CAS?
(Lots of white area, minimal layers etc)

And get this amazing Scribbles image, here:  #A 70 Moon Star
