Scrappy Strips Smile

I made this for the NZ cardswap.  We are in the middle of winter here in NZ and in need of a little sunshine to brighten things up.

Suze was the chooser for this months swap and she chose the strippy scraps with a link to a demo video, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAHpbdo7SDk

Smile die: Wplus9
Sun die: DieNamics
Bird die: Kaisercraft
Black pen (eye), WoS, sparkly EP

Scraps/snippets from bin, sliced randomly.  The tiny bird is cut from a teensy scrap left over from the strips.  "Smile" and the bird are stacked using scraps cut from left overs, so the stack  has all sorts of colours in it that if you look closely you can see from the side.

Click on to enlarge and see the sparkle of different colours in the glitter on the 'smile' and the WofS on the tiny bird.

  9. Your colorful card certainly brought a smile to my face. It's such a good feeling using up scraps, and this method uses up the tiniest leftovers!

I like how the black peeks through between each color. It makes the colors that much brighter!
