The story: Mama Mouse is back in the laundry doing the next load of washing, and outside are her helpers. Helpers?!! Of course these little helpers are having fun in the sunshine and fresh air. I don't know that mama is going to be too pleased though.

OMG how cute! Love the soft colors. I think this is undoing the laundry, ha ha! And I agree, there is NOTHING like the sweet smell of sheets that have dried out side that no dryer sheet in the world can compare to. Super fun card, Carol.

You are right -never ending fun! I used this image too and love their playing! I love the cute added clothes pins on the side of your card. Have a great week! xx
ReplyDeleteI agree nothing beats drying washing outside-love this really cute image and delicate colouring -my son left his puppy with us today as he is back at work and she is an unruly 12 wekks old who was jumping up at my washing today -however I didn't think she was so cute lol

I know exactly what you mean, Carol, summer feeling in the washing clothes!
ReplyDeleteLovely card you have made.
Have a fine week,
Dorte xx
You are right...who wouldn't love to make a drudge of a job a happy event? Lovin' that the meecies are making it happen here! Your clothes pins are a great addition too! ♥ Sue Kment
ReplyDeleteAnother beautifully done card Carol.Just reminds me of my children when they were young trying to swing on the clothes or jumping up to get them off the line
ReplyDeleteYour so right Carol, nothing in the world beats out doors drying, I am washing everything in sight while the weather holds, it makes my day. Your card is so cute and so gorgeous, I just love it.xx
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, I have just brought in clothes from the line with the freshest smell of all. I have even been known to take photos of the clothes on the line flying in the wind, yeah! one crazy lady :)
ReplyDeleteI love those mouses and your beautiful colouring, a fun and wonderful card Carol.

This is adorable. I love how you used the little clothespins as accents. I love the red shorts on the line. If I can remember I think I'll color one article of clothing and make the rest pink like someone added in the red shorts or socks and it turned everything pink. Ha Ha! Of course it's not funny in real life.
ReplyDeleteYou are a wicked Bunny.
ReplyDeleteAww, what a cute and adorable card, Thank you for Joining us at Scrapping4funChallenge and waiting to see next time.

Those mice children do not seem to be fussing as much as I used to when I had to help with the wash! :) This is a truly delightful scene and such adorable mice! Thanks for playing with us at Ike's World Challenges this month! Nan, DT for Ike's World Challenges!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Carol - and perfect sentiment. Have to agree that nothing beats clothes dried outside in the fresh air - not that that is happening much at the moment with the current weather.
ReplyDeleteLovely Colouring and great project. Thank you for entering our challenge at Colouring in Scrapland. We hope to see again next challenge.
