I really enjoy making scrappy strip cards. I made this for a NZ Cardswap requiring using this technique. The background EF is lightly inked with pale blue. There are tiny dots of Kindyglitz on the detail in the EF.
I think it looks like a sunbeam shining in the forest.
Sentiment die: Wplus9
Sentiment stamp strip: unbranded

ReplyDeleteJust amazing Carol. Your eye for colours is incredible. The stipes are perfect.
ReplyDeleteHi Carol
ReplyDeleteIt really DOES look like a sunbeam in the forest. Excellent use of little snippet strips. Lovely silhouette die cut too. I also like your subtle use of pale blue on the EF.
I'm standing in for Miss Di on the commenting front while she's recovering from her fall. so come and visit the Playground Tree House for some mischief. She can't easily climb the ladder at present, although she has threatened to send Dudley up to find out what's going on!
Thanks for playing in the Snippets Playground.
Hugs from the Snippets Head Prefect. x
What a beautiful card! I just love the paper strip background and how the trees really pop against all those beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. The strips look awesomme on this card.[Bunny]
ReplyDeleteHi Janette, yes keeping busy during lockdown. We are now back to level 2 which is great, we can now cautiously go out and do things like visit the library, get haircuts etc. CarolG
