iSpy #44 Lysha's photographic challenge
Every week, Lysha puts up a photographic challenge with prompts for us to look out for, then we share on Lysha's Saturday (my Sunday). It's always wonderful to see how people are inspired.
Prompts this week were: Vintage, Seasonal, Zigzag, Collect, your choice.
Vintage: We are decluttering at the moment preparatory to moving next year, and we are finding all kinds of things including these vintage shoe trees. I love old stuff and hate to part with anything vintage. But, needs must.
Seasonal: Our orange tree. This week I picked the last three oranges. As you can see it already has blossom for next years fruit and it's going to be loaded.
Zigzag: A throw I crocheted for a granddaughter (the colours are her request) and slippers made with the leftover yarn.
Collect: It is such a joy to collect eggs fresh and warm. Even though they have three nesting boxes to choose from, they invariably all lay in the same box.
Your choice: My newest rose is just starting to bloom. It is a climber, Pierre de Ronsard. Isn't it gorgeous? So interesting, it buds white and gets pinker and pinker as it opens. It's only about 500mm high and already blooming like this.
Next week I will show you my old compassion rose, such a faithful bloomer and ohhh so perfumed!

What a treat to pick your own oranges, and gather your own eggs! The new rose is spectacular - so full!
ReplyDeleteAs you must know by now Carol I love the ispy posts, the old shoe trees are wonderful, they really don't come like that anymore and are probably worth a few bob. I can't even imagine how wonderful to grow oranges, amazing and gathering your own eggs, the crochet looks so pretty and the climbing rose is so beautiful, I have noted the name to see if it can be got here, it looks like a cabbage rose my mother had many moons ago.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing carol.xx
