Each week, Lysha puts up a photographic challenge with prompts for us to look out for, then we share on Lysha's Saturday (my Sunday). Get inspired!

This week the prompts were: plant quarterly, inside out, split, green, your choice.

Last photos from the house we are leaving behind.

Plant quarterly:  the peace plant, having a nice long drink.

Inside out:

Split:  A mirror that splits images.  Not much use, but lots of fun.

Green:  This is commonly known as a mouse tail plant.  They look like mice with their heads buried in the leaves.  They eventually develop long thin tails, these one haven't got to that stage yet.  The tails start to grow as the  flowers turn over to look like little bums (am I allowed to say that here?).  A tiny woodland plant growing in our garden: I must remember to take some with me.

here is a botanical drawing I found on the net (with tails on)

Arisarum proboscideum (Mouse Tail Plant)

Your choice:   This past week we had to say goodbye to our chookies, We had to split them up (another split) and send them off to their new homes.  Spicy (in the foreground) went to Suz place and the others went to Jan's orchard.

Check out how others have interpreted the prompts, here:  ispy-70
