Lots of paint and ink here. The large background piece is paint on gelliplate then stamped to take paint off before printing; the image is stamped onto ink sponged onto glossy card. I like the delicate lacy effect of the large background and the light play with the image.
Owning up: I mistakenly glued the background to the wrong side of the base card - originally the lacy border was to be at the bottom. The good thing about this is that you end up with creative design solutions, not mistakes.
Image stamp: unknown (a really old one)
Sentiment: unknown
Corner punch: Martha Stewart
Border punch: Martha Stewart
Also: Vellum, distress inks, satin ribbon, pearls

Had to laugh Carol, we all make mistakes and nine times out of ten no one would ever know if we didn't say something.
ReplyDeleteIts a beautiful card and the lace looks perfect.xx
How very beautiful Carol, love the colour mix and the fabulous image, I think your mistake, wasn't! The border at the top suits this perfectly.
