Sea La Vie

I am pleased to be guest designer for Mirtillamente challenge which is anything goes.  Check out the design inspiration and get your entry in here:  mirtillamente-challenge

Sea la vie is a play on words from french "c'est la vie" (that's life).  I used torn tissue paper layered for the waves and dipped the torn edges into white Distress Ink for the froth.  The octo body coloured with Copics and misted with Shimmer which is really hard to photograph as it is quite subtle.  The fish are diecut from satin silver card.  I put them in for company so Octa didn't get lonely.  Fab image; you can get them coloured and uncoloured.

Sentiment: Woodware

Dies: unknown

Also: Copics, DI, tissue, washi, Shimmer Mist (body), Stickles (eye).

  5. I really like your 'sea' making method - very realistic! I don't like octopus, they give me the shivers but yours looks friendly. Or is that just to trick me?
