I made this for someone to give their sister who was arriving from overseas for a first-time visit. She wanted me to use a photo of her sister in the design. I have protected her privacy so she is not recognisable by digitally drawing over her eyes. The wording is as instructed. The colour palette is taken from the beautiful sari she is wearing.

What a wonderful personalized "Welcome" card. I love the colour scheme you used, those huge purple flowers go so well with the soft pink paper in the background. The idea to frame the picture of the lady's sister in order to incorporate her onto the card is genius, especially when it's done a beautiful frame like this one. The addition of pearls is another great detail, just like the fact that you took the time to embellish the inside as well. I can only imagine the sisterly love that reflects from a project like this. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.
