Bunch of Pink

A great stamp to do watercolour technique and get an informal painterly result..  I put areas of colour onto my glass mat (using the stamp as a guide for placement), dabbed them with paper to texturise, then printed the colour onto card.  When dry, I stamped and heat embossed.  Touched up some areas with paint such as the centre of the flower and some stems.  In the second photo you can see the iridescent effect of the paint.

Embossed Stamp:

Punch: Fiskars

Embossed Senti:

Also: kids watercolour paint set with pearly colours, pearls

  4. You've achieved such a delicate looking card Carol, it's the technique I use for most of my backgrounds usually with acetate or acrylic block. And I'm a big fan of Poppies so ticks all my boxes.

Many thanks for sharing at Stamping Sensations and We Love Stamping challenges.
