I have been invited to be in the Designer Spotlight on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you Simon Says Stamp, I always enjoy a challenge.
I was inspired to insert music instead of text because of this composition, check it out: "The Typewriter" by American composer Leroy Anderson. https://www.youtube.com/watch
This vintage typewriter stamp & sentiment is Tim Holtz "Curiosity Shop" stamp set.
The background uses dotty & checky stamps from Tim Holtz "Mr Rabbit" set, along with Distress Inks, Distress Oxide Inks, Distress Oxide sprays. Also a splatter of gold paint splatter, gold dots, various washi tapes and a torn scrap of real music.

What a great card, Carol, and I love how you added the music paper into the typewriter. What a great way to show that song. Have a very creative week, Maura.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Carol! What a fun idea with a typewriter typing out music. Thank you for being our guest this month! / Anna-Karin
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your guest spot. Fabulous multi-media card.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly rocked this card Carol - your music coming out of the typewriter made me giggle, but when I saw your tune title, I understood the 'why'.
