Our son and grandson are avid cricket players, so this will be for one of them when their birthday comes around.
I painted white card with stripes and patches of green metallic watercolour paint to look like a grassy oval, then splattered. I masked a strip for the pitch and painted it a darker green. The wickets I cut out of a scrap of painted card, the ball in red card. The players are diecut from white card, colour details are done with Copics. I traced a fence for a boundary and drew in the crowd with a black pen. The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp into green card.
