Right now we just wanna have sun. It's been a cold wet winter here though as small islands we don't get extremes like a continent does.
The pic is an old calendar page given to me by a friend, so zany and too good not to use, also really good quality. The page is fussy-cut with only a small bit of the picture showing on the card (it was a really big calendar). These gals look like they know how to have fun!
The background is made from a couple of layers - the purple has splashes of clear glue to look like water, it is matted onto a black layer, then onto a white base card. The frame is smooshy card left over from something else that I used the inside for, leaving a ready-made frame for this project! The stamped sentiment is cut up to make a more dynamic read.
