Warm & Fuzzy

A non-fussy card.  The cat is stamped on card, then again on waste paper to provide a mask, then again onto patterned paper for paper piecing.  The mask is applied and area around cat is sponged and blended., then dark blue ink finely splattered.  Tree stamps applied around and behind cat, then mask removed,  paper piecing cut out and applied.  Hand stitched xx.

  4. I love your card, Liz, and your masking technique resulted in a lovely background for the kitty. I love cats! My family debated over whether this image was a cat or an owl. I was the only one who voted for a cat until I mentioned that the animal had a tail! Great card with delightful colors. Thank you for playing along with us at Double Trouble #154. - Melanie R.
