Bee-you-tiful
I have an affinity with bees, gotten as a child from my granddad who was a beekeeper. He used to tell stories about the bees, and lectured about bees at the local Agricultural College.
The background is smooshed DI's misted with perfect pearls. The sentiment stamp is a magazine freebee gold embossed. The panel is diecut and matted onto copper metallic card. A dot of Ranger Stickles on the layered diecut bee, popped up on dimensional foam.

Soft yellow panel embossed. Sunflower stamped onto a scrap of ink smooshed card and fussy cut with a bit of Copic marker shadow colouring, gold metallic pen stamen dots. The sentiment is matted onto black card to show up the sentiment. A diecut bee with vellum wings ( from my BitzBox) visiting the flower.

Friend Flowers
A pretty bouquet for a friend. I've had this stamp set for ages and never figured out how to use it ... it didn't have packaging/instructions.
I tried a couple of different things including this, then saw it in a few pictures and realised how it should look, however I liked the loose casual random look this has.
I used Ranger Distress Inks for the stamping, some antique gold Perfect Pearls for splatter, some gold Versacolor for circles and dots and Ranger Stickles for sparkle. The panel is matted onto gold paper and then onto a white base card.

Wanna Have Sun
Right now we just wanna have sun. It's been a cold wet winter here in NZ though as small islands we don't get extremes like a continent does.
The pic is an old calendar page given to me by a friend, so zany and too good not to use, also really good quality. The page is fussy-cut with only a small bit of the picture showing on the card (it was a really big calendar). These gals look like they know how to have fun!
The background is made from a couple of layers - the purple has splashes of clear glue to look like water, it is matted onto a black layer, then onto a white base card. The frame is smooshy card left over from something else that I used the inside for, leaving a ready-made frame for this project! The stamped sentiment is cut up to make a more dynamic read.
Peanuts - Love Brings us Home
One of our grandchildren is away to university this week. I made this CAS card for her.
The image stamp is a magazine freebie from Practical Publishing - a bunch of wonderful peanuts images. I cut a mask for around the image and coloured the background with brushes and DI's in blues & greens. The hearts have Stickles sparkles.
She is well organised and has lots of stuff to take with her. I made a bag of goodies to go, including a small first aid kit, playing cards etc. and cuddly crochet throw, Ian had made some wood turned pendants and she chose one of those to take with her. So, something handmade from nonna & poppa.

Splashy Birthday
Things got a bit fishy around here.
The aqua coloured panel is smooshed with several colours of DI's and misted with Perfect Pearls, then given embossing that looks like fish scales; the sentiment (Acid Drops & Whatnots) stamped & diecut and misted as well. The fish are diecut from a Daphne's Diary paper, assembled using snippets of coordinating shaded card for heads and tails. Put onto a black base card to make the colours pop.

Sunflower Birthday
The panel and additional flower is made by smooshing JuiseyArt inks and Distress Inks, allowing to dry and stamping over; Copics are used to add shadows to flower. I fussy cut the flower and used 3Dfoam to pop it up. the centre is highlighted in gold pen and the berries & acorns in white gel pen. Sentiment embossed and gold cord tied around. Matted onto lemon textured card, then onto black base card.
When I was finished I thought maybe I should have done gold embossing to go with the gold cord, and could have easily put another on top with gold embossing. I decided not to as I like the not-matchy-matchy thing, and think it adds a bit of zing and I like unpredictable!

With Sympathy
A pretty bold paper, and in colours I would not normally choose. So I let the paper do the talking and made the stacked sentiment bold too, in pewter metallic. The paper has some textured parts, not exactly glittery, more gel-like.

Birthday Ride
The background is painted with pearly watercolour paints on watercolour paper. I has a lovely sheen.
The diecut balloon from Joanna Sheen is cut in two different patterned papers and reassembled using both papers. A stamped diecut tag (NCraft) tied up with gardeners twine.
Here in Hamilton, NZ we have a hot air balloon festival in April, our southern autumn.

HM Yikes Birthday
This sweet little house mouse has 'presented' herself for someone's birthday complete with a gift ribbon.
The House Mouse image is stamped on white card and coloured with Copics with a soft brush of DI colour around the edges of the diecut oval. The oval is popped up on foam and placed on a blue & green checked panel that is scored around all the edges, and then onto a diecut lacy panel. The Papercraft diecut tag has a computer made sentiment, and a cute little snippet of ribbon bow. White gel pen highlights.

Peony
A clean and simple floral in beautiful colours inspired by a couple of challenges.
The white panel has an embossed border (a really old Cuttlebug EF). Firstly white card is coloured with JuiseyArt hybrid inks, then stamped with the outline peony stamp & diecut (Couture Creations stamp & die set). I used Copics to add shadows and detail to the flower & leaves, and Wink of Stella to the petal edges for a bit of sparkle (see detail pic). Leaves stamped on a snippet of card, and on a snippet left from that, the sentiment (Waffle Flower) is stamped & die cut. The flower is popped up in foam tape to create a soft shadow.

Red Flowers
Red flowers are always stunning, and here I used a simple colour palette and simple design inspired by a Beautiful Blossoms moodboard. Another one for a Parkinson's fundraiser.
The flowers are diecut, misted with Perfect Pearls and arranged randomly as they would grow, some of them are popped up on foam. A diecut border in white, and a stamped & embossed sentiment with a handcut fishtail end.

Whaletime
I used some JuiseyArt hybrid inks to make the smooshy background and for the card I stamped the whale on. I also used shimmer spray on the whale. The background is a large Aall&Create diecut tag which I cut down so the fancy edge looks like surf. I fussy cut the whale and stamped a spout in white Hero Arts ink. I outlined the spout with Sakura stardust gelpen, I also drew bubbles in various colours. A white gel pen shine in the eye. The sentiment is stamped and diecut; both the sentiment and whale are popped up on foam.

One Chameleon
Just trying out my new stamp (LawnFawn). I smooshed the background, then stamped the chameleon and die cut it. The other bits (tree & leaf) are stamped on scraps/snippets and added to the panel. The panel is diecut in a tag shape (Art by Marlene), added to the base card and the chameleon is popped up on foam. Detail on the creature is coloured with Copics. Stamped sentiment strips and a twine bow to finish.
