Beautiful Friends

We are in self isolation owing to you-know-what (in NZ everyone over 70 is supposed to be in self-isolation), so I thought I'd make some cards to send to friends in the same situation to cheer them up.
What a great opportunity (excuse) to craft!!!
Mon 23 UPDATE: we are now in national lockdown.

I stamped the cats along the bottom, and on another piece of paper which I used as a mask to sponge colour behind the cats.  I didn't want to colour the cats because I thinks it looks crisp and fresh like it is.  I added the sentiment along the vertical edge to make a nice triangle, and the colour strip to add weight to the bottom.

Image clear embossed: Rubbernecker
Sentiment: Rosie's Studio
Distress Inks
Snippet of green card

Gorgeous card Carol. Why don't you put it in Ike's "Show us Your Pussies Challenge" as well. I'm sure she would love to see it. Some of us under 70 are in self-isolation as well. I have a bad head cold and need to keep away from every-one else. Still, as you say, a good excuse to craft.

Oh yes, my crafting marathon starts tomorrow - I was going to self isolate regardless thanks to my friend asthma, (never mind my age) but then the orders came from on high...
Loving this fabulous card Carol - the subtle shading behind the cats is stunning.
Stay safe

In self isolation from the start carol, due to helth problems, and our government is only just closing down and telling people to isolate, but lets hope they can find a cure soon, thank God for the internet, that would be the last straw.
