Farmyard - by Sam (age 10)

This is a card that resembles our house with some farm animals and our kitten Sooty.  I made it in Nonna's studio. I stamped the animals and then coloured them with colouring pencils and used glitter pens.

This is the inside with a pop up.

Nonna's Note:
Sam used my blog because he doesn't have one of his own.  They have lots of animals on their farmlet.

Cupcake by Holly (age 8)

This is my card that I made in Nonna's studio.  The inside is special, it is an accordian.  I am going to give it to mum and dad.  I made it out of a paper napkin with cupcakes on it.

This is what it looks like on the inside.

Nonna's note: Holly used my blog because she doesn't have one.
She used the clingwrap technique to fuse the cupcake napkin then cut them out.

Dragonfly Roses

Roses, dragonflies, summertime.
I have been experimenting with different ways of coloring on black.

Here I stamped with Versamark, white heat embossed and then painted with iridescent watercolour paints.  The roses are actually yellow, apricot, pink, rose and purple, but the differences in colour don't show very well in the pic.  The dragonflies are stamped in two shades of turquoise and painted with Wink of Stella. Anyway, it shimmers and the dragonflies have a low twinkle.

Everyone likes a hug from a friend!  (although this looks more like an 'ugh').  Isn't this the biggest smile you've ever seen?  and doesn't it make you feel good when you get a hug like this - usually from a child!

Sunflower sunshine

This fortnight's challenge from

Our sponsor, who has provided this image, here:

I coloured plain white card using distress inks by smooshing, when dry printed it with the image and cut it out.  The label is also coloured with distress inks but is sponged and spritzed with water, then stamped with a sentiment.

CAS girl

CAS - Clean And Simple!
That's it!
Meet us at the Crafters Café to see the amazing design team work, and enter your own, here:

And see the selection from Mari Digis, our kind sponsor, here:

Washi tape

I printed directly on the base card, masked the image and sponged around in yellow and pink distress inks.  Her eyes are coloured with Copics.

I often don't put a sentiment on as I like to keep my options open for the occasion, but will put an appropriate sentiment inside the card when I use it.
So this could be for hello, birthday,  first day at work, really for any happy wish.

Feline Frenzy Selfie

Check out this month's challenge at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies, here: 2craftycrittercrazies

and our sponsor CREATEFUL HEARTS goodies are here:

I used their image called "Feline Frenzy"

I used a stencil directly onto the card base using distress inks.  The image is coloured with Copics, cut out and raised with foam, as is the camera.  I used Glossy Accents on the eyes and touches of Kindyglitz here and there. Useful for any celebration.

Happy Bear-thday

What a lovely bear this is and there are lovely supporting images in the set.

I stamped the bear, balloon, and flower on a piece of scrap paper, and cut out for a reverse mask.  I used distress inks sponged through the mask/stencil, then stamped over the colour with black ink.  Edge of card inked.

Stamps: Rosie's Studio
Distress Inks
Black Enamel dot
