Tooth Fairy Charlee

The Rainbow Connection

Hello to everyone who loves colour! I reckon this would brighten anyone's day.
Does anyone remember the Muppets song "The Rainbow Connection"?
Made using water based pens to make a dip-dye effect on watercolour paper.



Colour is started at the top of each panel with lighter colours and graduated the bottom of the paper is torn and ends up black.  Each panel is sliced so you get several cards from it.  And yes, I know its not in rainbow order, but I liked it this way.

I'm Done

I had to make a clingfilm background for another project, so of course had a bit of messy fun and made lots of backgrounds.  This one is made with silver and gold and iridescent medium.

Birthday Baaawk

I made this for my neighbour's birthday.  We both have chickens so I always make her some kind of chicken card.  I specially love this one, and it has another chicken inside with a greeting.  (For those who have no experience of chickens "baaawk" is  chicken chat; in this case it means "Good Grief you're 50 already!")  I love this stamp.

Birdsong

Moments Nest

Here is a one layer card.  The background is a digital paper with the rest digitally placed on top.

Bicycle

The background is a technique called "Iron-off Embossing" learned from a video tutorial by Jennifer McGuire on Youtube.

I used a large background stamp, and got a 2-for-1 print from the iron-off.  It uses stamps, inks & embossing powder.  Oooh I love getting inky!

Feature Fffflower

ANYTHING GOES at the Crafters Cafe this fortnight.  Check out the inspirations from the DT and enter yourself, here: crafterscafechallenge
















This one uses the bleaching and colouring technique.  I forget where I learned this, probably youtube.  It's also great for using up those snippets and tiny bits of leftover card.

First stamp and heat emboss onto coloured card.  I used clear EP.  Then use diluted bleach on a paintbrush to take some of the colour out (kind of reverse colouring).  Then, when dry, I used pencils to shade where I wanted more colour, and because I used textured card, I got a lovely effect with the pencils.  Cut out and add to background.  The background uses the same stamp.
