Thanks to Angie's Stamps for the image; get it here: butterfly-on-toadstools

NEW Directions:  I made this for one of our granddaughters who has left university and is looking for work.  Because of  the effects of Covid, I made this so she might stay focussed on her dreams while taking work where she can get it in the meantime.  I thought the butterfly motif very appropriate for the changes she will need to make.

I made a scrappy strips background, complete with strips of gold (for the dream).  I coloured the image and smooshed and stamped over the ground.  The wings are sparkly with WoS.  * I now collect all my snippets/strippy scraps so I will have them ready to go.

Image: Angie's

Oval die: unbranded

Sentiment stamp, & starry: Magazine freebies

Also: Copics, D'Inks, WoS, gold pen

Beautiful card Carol. Love the background with the touch of gold.
Good luck to your granddaughter. Hope she finds work that she enjoys.
My daughter will be going through the same in a year's time - has already been through it once before returning to study to try and get the work she really wants to do.

What a beautiful card Carol, and I love the reason you made it, and the thoughts behind the elements you used - it makes it even more special. Do hope your DGD finds work suited to her qualification soon
Stay safe
