Welcome, I'm so glad you're here! Being creative is a big part of my life, and this is where I can show you some of the things I do.

Monochrome with embossing, stamping, inking, pretty papers, vellum, diecuts, tags flowers and a brad.. I like how it came out with all those elements. The flowers are stamped, inked. The black ones are wet and scrunched and left to dry like that.

Inspired by a challenge, keen to try these cool colours together... or should I say hot?
Using plain card for background and diecuts, two of them overlaid and offset. Finger burnished with Artists Paintstik in gold highlights on fruit, leaf and edges.

House Mouse has a challenge for different card folds, and I have been wanting to try this one using a die. The images are from a House Mouse CD I have had for a long time, they are so cute. A pretty paper for the background, I used the cutout piece for the inside. A stamped sentiment to go with the warm knitted garments, and some dots that are drop-outs from a die.
It was hard to photograph as the light was uneven on each side, so the main one is taken lying flat, and the small one is standing upright.
Isn't that mouse a great little knitter? I wonder what she is making now ...

How Old???? maybe a dinosaur? maybe a bit of fun? maybe a bit snarky?
Lime green panel stamped with dark green ink, grass drawn in with Copic markers. The only complete dinosaur is stamped again onto patterned paper and fussy-cut, paper-pieced, glued on over the background one. Spots coloured with Copics. Stamped sentiment and panel matted.

Another tulip card in the selection for Parkinsons Disease fundraising. Totally a one-layer card directly onto card base, that's as flat as you get.
Flowers & stars stencilled with Distress Inks, water splatttered, sheer shimmer mist. Home made star stencil using negative of diecut. Gold metallic pen used to make faux splatter, WoS on stars. Stamped & embossed sentiment.

asyo-favourite-layered-or-flat-why flat cards are easy to mail, nothing gets squished. You make layers instead with colour and shape.

The EF is inked with aqua for letterpress embossing, I think it's a map of London. The AALL & Create woman stamp is coloured with Copics and fussy-cut. Sentiment stamped and heat embossed turquoise, and an arch diecut to coordinate. Panel and woman popped up with foam tape.

It's the start of SPRING here in New Zealand.
Dawn chose the September theme for our NZ cardswap group - Spring, so I did a double take on it = a spring scene with frolicking lambs with the middle lamb on a paper spring. Yes, here in NZ there are calves and lambs out in the fields, the cherry blossoms are appearing, and there are daffodils everywhere. Ahhhh!
The background is smooshed DI's with a pearly mist. Lots of diecuting layers, a bit of stamping, and white penwork. The grassy layers are great to use up snippets.

A stamp, a square dotty stencil, a die, and embossing folder, some DI's and DOx Sprays, Copics and a white and black pen. The dots are Enamel Accents, nose is Glossy Accents, inked edges. I doodled on the balloon and sentiment, and made my own party hat. The ?Katzelkraft cat is stamped, balloon & string diecut from some previously inked and splattered card. The box is stamped & paperpieced from kraft paper.
I love this image, but I have doubts whether the mouse is confident about his future safety ... is he the birthday present? ha, what a thought.
