Dragonfly Roses

Roses, dragonflies, summertime.
I have been experimenting with different ways of coloring on black.

Here I stamped with Versamark, white heat embossed and then painted with iridescent watercolour paints.  The roses are actually yellow, apricot, pink, rose and purple, but the differences in colour don't show very well in the pic.  The dragonflies are stamped in two shades of turquoise and painted with Wink of Stella. Anyway, it shimmers and the dragonflies have a low twinkle.

A beautiful card Carol. It's great to experiment every now and again and to find new techniques. I tend to colour with white ink when I use black card and then go over it again with colour when it dries but it's always good to find new ways of crafting. Thank you for sharing this with us at Stamping Sensations and good luck. Sandra x
