Bee My Friend

A friendly bee visiting a honey source.   We are just coming into spring and the bees are out and about in the blossoms already.

I dicut the bee twice, once in vellum and once in yellow card; I cut the wings off the card  and the legs off the vellum and stuck them together, then used Copics to colour the bee.  I like how the ink bled into the card-  it makes the bee look fuzzy. Flower, bee and sentiment hexagon adhered on 3D foam.  Lots of snippets here plus a quick visit to the BITZ box on my desk.

Bee die: Couture Creations
Layered Flower stamp (embossed):
Leaf die: Spellbinders
Sentiment stamp (glitter embossed):
Hexagon punch, Vellum, Glossy Accents dots on flower, Distress inks, gold pen.

Love the hexagon die you added to the honeybee card. Great place for the sentiment.

Thanks for the message about the hurricane. At this point we don't know whether to stay or go as it changes paths quick sometimes. Oh what destruction they can cause. At least we have a warning and it's not like an earthquake. Keep us in prayer, please. Hugs, [Bunny]

Lovely card. Looks like the background has stitches. The bee going to the flower is charming. Great card.

Love that offset chequered background Carol and the delightful bee entering the flower. I have only seen one honey bee out - still a bit cool here, but the bumbles are around.

Lovely card. I love making cards with bees. The stitching adds another element to your card too. Thanks for taking the time to enter our challenge this month at Creative Inspirations and good luck, Jayne DT
