Book Travel

The daily challenge at Gecko Galz theme is travel.  Hmm not much travelling being done at the moment (today we were supposed to be in Sweden!) so armchair travel seemed appropriate, and this gorgeous image is perfect.

Such a true sentiment! Love the book reading girl stamp combined with the world map! Lovely work, Carol. x

I love this because reading does take you away to places you may never get to go and there can be such magic in books. Great card. [Bunny]

Perfect for these times. Sad that you had to miss your eagerly awaited trip. It must be extra hard on days like today with the thunder and heavy rain (which I assume you are getting as well).

Fabulous card Carol - loving your background embossing, and the world map die cut. Leaving the image uncoloured was a great choice
Pity about your tour being cancelled :(. This virus has a lot to answer for!
Stay safe

Big day for us today Carol!! Counting down to 4pm to hear what the Jacinda will say about us leaving or staying in Level 4. To be honest I think we should stay here for another two weeks, wouldn't hurt but can understand how hard it must be for businesses etc. Your card couldn't be more perfect for our challenge and just love the image of th girl reading, it has so much detail. Glad that you didn't colour it in, that way you can see all the tiny bits of the scene. Love the purple background and how the map connects to your sentiment. Always wonderful to see you at TIME OUT and please stay safe!!
