The marbled band is made using pearly nail polish on water!
Here are some tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JS799-PmfnI or
https://www.making-greeting-cards.com/nail-polish-technique.html
I found fewer colours were better and not too much (so no blobs); also different amounts of each colour gives a better effect. If you try it, make a secondary print from the bowl which will be softer and quite different. Pearlised nail polish gives a beautiful effect. Also the cheaper the nail polish the better it works!
Edges of pink card inked, sentiment stamped, marbled piece diecut, pearls added. It looks better IRL.

love the technique using nail polish on water to create the band, so smart! I will have to give it a try! Thank you for joining us at MMM
Beautiful card Carol and love how you used the strip of the nail varnish technique-great idea I have a few pieces made with this technique and not used but look good with just a strip-thanks for the tip

What a pretty piece you got with your sparkly nail polish. Haven't done this since we did in the swap group years ago! Love the wavy die cut too.
