Garden Tour: day two garden five

Day two.  After the watery bits, we headed to Acacia Bay for lunch at a garden cafe called L'Arte.  The small garden was full of quirky arty things and a nice lunch as well.

The little shop at the top of the garden.  The flowers in the tubs at the front are ceramic.

An old wooden gate with little ceramic birds enjoying the sunshine.

The trees had odd fruit:

... and quirky ceramic birdhouses

Garden plaques:

Ceramic bells ...

Some art in the path ...

A look through the window...

into a living room ... complete with a fireplace
and a sofa ... love that quirky lamp

and a bathroom ...

Wow, that was amazing.
Back on the bus and a toilet stop at Tokoroa
Look at these amazing public toilets right in the middle of town (the towers).

We had all had good tour and off home with a busload of tired, happy travellers.

Wow, what a wonderful quirky art cafe - hope the food was as good as the art!
Thanks for featuring our loos :) The 'towers' are arranged to look like the southern Cross - not that you can see it from ground level!!
Blessings
