I printed two images and coloured both the same.  Then I cut out the 'forward' part that is at the front of the pot and used 3D foam to pop it up, also the snail and a heart.  The fairy and bees have Wink of Stella.  I thought about putting on googly eyes but decided they would dominate too much.  Lots of things here for a child to discover.

HB Purple Bird

This is from a free stamp set with a magazine or if you look at it another way, a free magazine with a costly stamp set.  I really like the images and they are so nice to paper piece.
I used a snippet of made card (Distress Oxide Inks), stamped over and cut out.  I stamped the image onto the white base card to get the little legs looking crisp.  The sentiment came with the set.

HB Sunflower

Here is a happy birthday sunflower.  It is a scrap of 'made' card (distress inks splashed and smooshed) left from another project.  Here we are in winter and I think this feels like a ray of sunshine.

Flowers on Black

For this card I stamped on black card with Versamark ink and white embossed, both the image and the sentiment.  The colouring is coloured pencils; a dab of Kindyglitz for the drop of dew.

Masterpiece Mouse

I wanted this to look like a page from a portfolio.  It is part of an image with two mice, but I think the simple version is better.  It is from a CD of House Mouse images.

So That's Why They Call it the Blues

This card is a little bit of serendipity.  I had made another card with this image and used the cut out image as a mask, but afterwards it looked so pretty I just had to use it somehow.  I like the ombre effect too.  So yes, it's paper pieced.

Soccer Sam

Our grandson Sam (10) is a soccer fanatic, so I made this for him.  It's a penny slider card made with a slot for the ball to travel and spin.  I can't remember what team he follows but I know the uniform is blue.

Birds just like to have fun

I love watching birds.  They are just like humans really with similar behaviours.  In our garden, we have a female blackbird called Dottie (with one white feather on her back)and an old male called Mulder (going grey at the edges), both clearly identifiable by their markings.  We also have two male pheasants - a young and old male - one bright and one faded, not to mention a lot of other birds that all look the same as each other.

For this card I stamped a card for the background, then carefully trimmed it into three layers and matted it onto green card using 3D foam.

As requested FYI: I printed her onto white card, then holding down a deckle edge die as a mask, sponged and blended distress inks (Milled lavender, dusty concord, tattered rose, victorian velvet, tumbled glass) around the outside of the die, taking card not to cover the image area at all.  I covered the image area and spritzed with water, dabbing off the excess, allowed it to dry, then coloured the image with Copics.  The tiny flowers are drop-outs from a bicycle die.

I made the background using Distress Oxide Inks in four colours sponged on, then blended, then misted until I had the right amount of speckle and blotch.  The image is coloured with Copics with lots of shading and blending. It is then die cut with some parts of the image cut out first and hung over the die. And of course you need stars if you're doing some dreaming; the stars are clear iridescent so only show up in certain lights.

I chose the diagonal line Black-PP-Yellow.  I softly coloured the background of the image with distress inks sponged. Diecut the pp and a foam sheet to act as a spacer for the shaker.  The embossing powder is sparkly too.
I like the silhouettes with the butterflies and hummingbirds attending the flowers.
