House Mouse & Friends #356 - Anything Goes with option of Something New.
A new-to-me technique of stamping and colouring on a coffee filter. It hardly shows in the photo but the flower has 3 layers and is quite ruffled. It is also the first time I have used this stamp although I have had it for a while. The image is stamped, the background is sponged locally, then misted with Perfect Pearls. The three coffee filters are watercoloured with D.Inks, dried, stamped, cut out, crumpled and applied in layers.
Image: House Mouse/StampendousSentiment:
Also: Distress inks, Copics, Perfect Pearls spray, coffee filters.

I LOVE the dimension of the flower and have never thought of using coffee filters with my stamps/cards! What a great idea! Have you ever popped by Ellibelle's Corner? She's a blogger that often shares whimsical cards (and hosts a few card making link ups too). I think you two would hit it off as your styles remind me a bit of one another.
Oh gosh Joanne that is a compliment, thank you. I often enter her monthly challenge. CarolG
