Autumn is apple time. I reckon most fruits look and taste like sunshine. Not all ... Durian for example has spikes on the outside and tastes like rotten onion custard... And some are ugly on the outside but sunny on the inside like pineapple, passionfruit. Apples are the ultimate autumn fruit, so many varieties and colours.
