Waiting for Spring

Lucky for me I was invited to be guest designer at The Crafting Challenge for March.  What a great topic - Come and join us for this Waiting For Spring challenge, here:  thecraftingchallenge

Hyacinths are such an iconic spring flower and what fabulous perfume.  I chose the plaid paper to compliment because the colours are so springy.

This is one of those NBUS picks for me, I have had these stamps/dies for a long time, they were a magazine freebie (Practical Publishing) and are just perfect for this challenge.
The teacup is diecut, edges inked with Ranger DI's and stamped with a flower pattern.  Image coloured with Copics and fussy-cut, with the little extra label and heart all from the same set.  The EF is sizzix on a shaped diecut and the digital plaid paper is from Crafty Cardmakers.    White pen dotty highlights and a red gem for pretty!

Wouldn't you like to have this on your windowsill while waiting for spring??

Beautiful Spring card Carol, love the hyacinth in a tea cup and embossed background. Congrats on your GDT spot too.
