Croc looks like it's having a real belly laugh... maybe because of the giant candles, or the tiny cake? I think it would be one chomp and it's gone.
I masked the background and coloured the croc by sponging with DI, took it off and reverse masked to colour the background. Then spritzed with water to get blotches. The hat and cake are painted with D.Oxides. The candles are edged with black, the flames are actually diecut bodies of bees coloured with DI.Image: Lia Stamps
