I cut the tag on the trimmer and layered it with PP, punched a circle reinforcer.  Stitching lines drawn on.  After printing and colouring the image, it is cut out and attached to the tag, which is then attached with 3D foam to the embossed panel which has a stitched line drawn around.  Glossy Accents on the flame and Kindyglitz on the stars.

Birthday Clown

This is such a simple image but it is full of happy!

Kitty model

Another great week at the Crafters Café; the theme is Anything Goes/Transport.  I'm sure you have some ideas already, check out the design team's work here: crafterscafe

Our sponsor is Sheepski; and the image I used is : kitty-mannequin-model


I wanted it to look a bit vintage so I printed the image, then printed again onto patterned paper for her dress (paper pieced).   I printed again onto scrap paper and cut it out to use as a mask so I could stamp the car, then sponge it with Distress Inks.  When finished it reminded me of those car ads in the 70's/80's where models lounged against the cars to show them off.

I printed the image twice and cut out the balloons and number to raise on 3D foam tape, coating them with Glossy Accents after colouring.  I wanted the image to be the focus, so cut the sentiment in the same colour as the bigger label, so it blended a bit.  I like this colour combination.

Time for Cake Clowns

 These cake clowns are looking for a party!  Guess what?  There's a sketch party over at the Crafters Café!  here

My grandchildren love images like this, mind you, they're into zombies and ninjas as well!
Now I'm not saying what sort of cake it is - could be birthday, anniversary, a farewell or any cakely occasion.
The image is printed twice.  I partially die cut one at the bottom to complete the circle and handcut the rest of the image.  I die cut an ombre green and a larger netting one.  The other image - the small clown is coloured with Copics, then cut out.  The hats and ruffs are painted with Stickles, and the balloon with Glossy Accents.

I paperpieced the image and I think she is soooo cute.  I was going to put a punched butterfly over the image one, but decided it looked like a hair clip so I Kindyglitzed it instead.  Amazingly the balloon loose glitter is a plain grape colour but has photographed as blue with lots of other colours (still looks good though).
