I find teenager cards difficult. They are so used to intense graphic images and gaming on electronic equipment, it is hard to capture their attention with anything that doesn't move or explode!
So I go for simple design-colour-image. I followed the blue through her clothes with the button border and just popped her with a teensie border of red, and of course a golden star. I like the backing paper with its tone on tone red with splatters of white and darkest red.
