Choo choo

The daily challenge at Gecko Galz is on day 42 of the lockdown.  Today the theme is steampower.

I used two Gecko Galz papers laid together with the top one torn at the side to expose the digi stamp of a steam engine.  The music paper and train inspired the card and now much later that song is still going round in my head!  For you musicians, I don't read music so don't know what it is, but it looks interesting.

Yes, you guessed, we have bunnies in our garden.  I have a wild-ish woodsy bit that bunnies, pheasants, quail and other birds visit (as well as just wandering around on the lawn) - it must be a food pantry for these critters.

Black and White

Today the daily challenge at Gecko Galz is black and white.

I'm going to send this to our daughter, who is finding it difficult to cope with not going out to work (her own business), having an adult child who left home and then came back for this lockdown, a partner with no work at present and no hobbies,  and they share their little house with another couple as well.  She wants some quiet time to be alone, but there's nowhere to go  …  I'm sure that's a familiar theme.  I thought it might make her laugh … and have a wine of course!

Tea for Two

I have been enjoying Gecko Galz daily challenges using their products. They are having this daily challenge while the lockdown is in place so we have something to do!! Today the theme is … you guessed it, Two for Tea.

I remember when I was a child finding a hidden spot in the garden to have a tea party with a friend.  Luckily we had lots of space, trees and outbuildings, so there we lots of lovely spots to hide away.

I like the old floral paper and the doily which seems to go with this image.   I painted the butterflies with Wink of Stella.
