This is really called Cow Patty Party!

I love this image, it can be used in lots of different ways.  This is a true one layer card, printed directly onto the base card, coloured, stamped, heat embossed.

Birthday Robot

I have just bought my first stamps from this artist and I just love these images - wish I could afford to buy them all!

This quirky image is just perfect for masculine or kid cards and is such fun to work with.  The design was inspired by a sketch (below).

Best Witches

A round card and a round topper.  I thought I'd keep it simple and let the materials speak for themselves.

I diecut the base rectangular card into a circle card, leaving a hinge on one side.  The image is diecut with a plain circle die.

Going Round in Circles

I made this for a NZ cardswap that had to have an ATCoin on it.


The round card is diecut, hinged at the top and a tiny slice off the bottom to make it stand properly.
The background is smooshed and stamped 'inspire'.  The coin is made using a paper napkin technique, stamped, embossed in white, and dipped around the edge in silver EP.

Miss You Piggy

Yikes! Flying pigs!

My grandkids love puns and this one should go down a treat.


The panel background is smooshed with Distress inks (to look like clouds) with edges inked and layered into this great heart paper.  The pig and sentiment is stamped onto patterned paper just for interest and because some piggys have spots.  The edges are dipped in EP and heat embossed. A few white dots of Nuvo added to the background.

The Raven Poe Poem

Here is an offering from The Dark Side.
This was inspired by an freebie image provided on Ikes World challenge - Edgar Allan Poe - thanks Suzy!

For the background I inked the poem, swiped it with Distress inks, sprayed it with black and copper, stamped a blot, misted it with water and blotted it,  ...  oh yes this was fun.
The image is cut and coloured with Copics and then lightly sponged with watered down distress ink.  I did cut off the bottom of the pedestal Because I like this shape better.

I cut the tag on the trimmer and layered it with PP, punched a circle reinforcer.  Stitching lines drawn on.  After printing and colouring the image, it is cut out and attached to the tag, which is then attached with 3D foam to the embossed panel which has a stitched line drawn around.  Glossy Accents on the flame and Kindyglitz on the stars.

Halloween Bag for Finn (RhiannonW-age10)

Made by Rhiannon age 10.
I have to use Nonnas blog because I don't have one.

I made this at Nonna's for my brother Finn.  I coloured the candycorn with felts.  I like the googly eyes on the owl and I made the bat carrying a goody pumpkin.

Alone Tree

A simple-ish card using smooshed card diecut, with an embossed base card splotched with gold metallic ink.  I like how the leaves are changing colour.

Witchy Thing

I coloured it with nonnas special markers and Nonna got the free paper and tickets off the internet.
I am going to give this to my teacher.

Wildflower Inchie

This was  a bit experimental in that I tried tea dyeing paper.

The inchie is a snippet of sploshed, dribbled, spritzed leftover from another project but I liked it and didn't want to throw it away - hmmm ... perfect for an inchie.  The supporting strip is a snippet from my tea dye experiment.  I thought it looked soft and made a nice transition from the crispness of the stripey EF to the splotchiness of the inchie.
The stamp is of wildflower seedheads, so perfect for autumn.

Starr sock puppet

This is Starr, she is my second go at making a sock puppet.  These are for NZ teachers who go to India to teach children.  They use puppets to communicate.

For her hair I used a hair tie that looked wild with ribbon and stars - love it. Wouldn't you like to have sparkly stars in your hair?    Instead of a pink or red conventional inside mouth I used green and blue to continue a fantasy type look.
