I made the feather first by rubbing crayons on card, then melting it with a heat gun. Then I die cutting it, embossing and then stencilling through the die.
The background is an embossing folder that is rubbed over the high spots with Versamark ink, and clear embossed (I love this technique called embossed embossing at Splitcoast stampers). The tag is from a patterned paper simply cut out, a tulle knot added and all secured with a brad. When I put the front onto the base card I decided to highlight the red tones by inserting scraps of red tulle to stick out.

What a wonderful card Carol - love how you have used the crayons, and the embossed embossing is so striking behind that wonderful feather, and the tulle extras are fabulous!.
