Inked illusion

A cardswap NZ group with the inked background theme.

Tutorial here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxmO0Pm1qJk&list=PLzgt-3_92RYSmqxNhbTI1sp2ZUkaDbkI7&index=74

I decided not to colour the hand-drawn background but to put the colour in the flowers.   This is a new-to-me die (don't know what brand, let me know if you do).

The base card is scored to make a frame; I chose black so the colour would make a splash.  And a simple embossed sentiment.  Gems added to take the colour out into the background a bit.

Looks amazing Carol. The use of the black base and the black and white of the panel really makes the gorgeous flowers pop of the page. They looking awesome.

Loving your dramatic result Carol - the splash of colour from the flowers is magnificent, and the black framing so dramatic
