Sailing

This yacht is a stamp I've had for years, the plaid stamp is more recent, but the I got the seashell EF this week.

I liked the idea of non-clooud background and went for plaid background instead - it still looks nautical and a bit masculine and goes well with the sea theme.  I stamped the background with stamped-off distress inks to get the worn look and spritzed it for blobbiness, and the shells have a bit of sparkle (which hardly shows up in pics).

Yacht stamp: Graphic 45 Hampton Art

Plaid stamp: Alina Craft Co

Sentiment: unknown

EF: unbranded

Also: DI's, Opal Dust

Gorgeous card, Carol, and I love how you've used the inks to get that distressed effect. The plaid works brilliantly as sky. Thank you so much for joining the challenge at Allsorts this week.
