Bunny's Beautiful Hat

This hat's for you, Bunny.  You might not have had a lovely flowery dress but you can have this gorgeous hat!  It looks like she is wearing a garden on her head - how wonderful!!    And come on over for tea and cake and maybe easter eggs …

Where on earth did the term Easter bonnet come from anyway?

Celebrating You

Another old photo/illustration - they have a quality you don't get in modern photography.  And fancy just being covered in blossom, that must be what bees feel like when they are buzzing amongst the flowers.  She is a garden!

Easter Bags

Easter soon, right?

I made these Easter Bags for the grandchildren (even the older ones don't like missing out).  Two have already been mailed off, so they arrive ahead of time.  The others are all local, but because of the CV19 lockdown I will have to mail these too.

I was inspired by the title of the stamp and decided to take it literally - to make a chocolate wrapper.  Mind you, while it was sitting on my desk over a few days, the original bar of chocolate disappeared, hmmm.  I wonder where that went!   ;-D

Leafy Magic Window

Our NZ craftycardmakers group swap was for a magic window card  based on a construction tutorial from YouTube.
If I made it again I would make it longer so that it ended up better fitting a standard C6 envelope.
The card is covered and lined with patterned paper.  Leaves are cut from snippets of card, inked (DistressInks) and arranged so they form an arrangement behind the centre circle topper.  Circles are layered, and the black one finger-edged with Opal Dust.
A message is written on the left-hand opening panel inside the card.

Here in NZ it's autumn.

Circle diecuts: Spellbinders
Leaves dies: Sizzix
Sentiment stamp (outside):

Also: gold pen, Opal Dust, Distress Inks, sequins,
