Krafty Ellie

Hello Krafty Ellie, you're looking very excited and ready to party. 

I decorated her hat like designs on Indian elephants at festivals.  The lime green paper hasn't photographed very well.  The gift and balloon are raised on 3D foam.

Party Animals

Continuing Bugaboo's birthday week, this is the Bingo one.
I used "sparkles-Bugaboo image-candles".










I made the sentiment on the computer.  I love seeing stuff attached in other ways than glue, so used blue staples to attach the purple stars.  Glossy Accents on the eyes.

Beary Special

I just got these new stamps from China and had to make something with them, they are so cute.
Also My new roll of washi tape needed a workout so I colour coordinated to go with it.  The balloon is paper pieced.

After printing and colouring it, I masked the image, sponging, spritzing & splattering (lovely fun) around the cat with distress inks and Perfect Pearls heirloom gold so it has a lovely shimmer plus splots.  I did the irises over with WoStella.

I printed the image twice and cut one out.  After  colouring and layering the image, I stencilled the stars using Versacolor Gold, inked the edges and made a reinforcer with the star punch.  I added a dotty border on her coat.  The sentiment is handwritten, a bit of a joke with friends - 'get on your broomstick'.  Gems added for sparkly magic.

Rhi's polar bear

Card Made by RhiannonW (age 8) in Nonnas Craft Room.
I made this by first stamping the polar bears onto white card and coloured it in with marker pens then cut it out very carefully. then I glued it onto the leftover die cut. then I glued that onto the circle die cut and added some gold glitter glue for stars. I embossed the white card with 'Animal Prints' and glued the polar bear pattern onto the embossed side of the card and put some washi tape on the bottom of the card. then I got another piece of white card and put some stamps in red and green and got some 'gems' and stuck them on. then I lined them up.

Gilded Deer

I have been trying out some new stuff and this is using gilding flakes. Oh my goodness they fly everywhere!!  But what an amazing effect, I like the mixed media look - not tidy, a bit random and very OTT.

Stitched Roses

This is a new layered stamp set I just got and I couldn't wait to try it out.  Hmmm it's harder than it looks.  This is about try number eight or nine.  The image really does look like cross stitch especially when embossed.

Anyway I have made this for my friend in a cardswap called Floral.

Poinsettia

I wanted a simple but elegant Christmas card for a friend.

I stamped the image onto vellum, gold heat embossed it, then coloured the back of it with Copic pens.  The background is embossed, then lightly swiped with gold paste.  Gold Stickles in the flower centre.  The flower is only attached to the card in the middle.

Because the image is very detailed, I printed it big, so the card design needed to be simple.  I coloured them with Copics, then highlighted eyes and apples with Glossy Accents.  I found a frame that suited and was large enough, layered 3D foam and attached to give some dimension,  The big apple is stamped on patterned papers and applied sitting out with 3d foam.  Doodle edge applied.
