Little Note

Heat Embossing, Dry Embossing, any kind of Embossing is the theme at the Crafters Café.  See what the design team have done and then see what you can do:  crafterscafe

Sponsor Rick St Dennis provided this fantastic image:  rick1949/euro-girl-Sharon

This looks a bit like me: got dressed in the dark, hair that won't behave, always slightly bewildered and haven't got a clue what I'm doing!

I used dry embossing for the banners and brick wall, and heat embossing for the sentiment.

Mouse Dancer

Stitching!  real or faux, that's the story at the Crafters Café.  See the great ideas from the design team, here: crafterscafeblogchallenge

Thanks to Rick St Dennis for this beautiful image' get it here: rick1949/sugar-plum-fairy-mouse-digital-stamp

The background image was masked and smooshed with Oxide Distress inks, then diecut.   I decided to 3D the mouse with foam and I'm glad I did, she looks like she's coming out of the page.  Layered the diecut over pink florists nonwoven wrap, stamped the sentiment on vellum and machine stitched it on.  The mouse is kept white and the dress and wings painted with watery mica watercolour paint.
